dumb and dumber.
dumb to use plastic. If you must use disposables, it's even dumber not to use readily available biodegradable beer cups. If you must dispose, don't hurt the environment in the process. duh!

I was at the show too and was appalled that they charged us $7 plus for a drink and then make us drink it out of plastic. Their excuse that last time Corb played there was too much broken glass on the dance floor just didn't fly with me - the crowd was 19 - 70 year olds and well behaved. Also, it's pretty hard to break glass on that dance floor. I've been going there over 30 years to a wide variety of shows and never experienced any broken glass on the floor. I figure it was just cheaper to serve it in plastic - no dishwashing, easier clean-up. If the Commodore is going to serve in plastic, they should tell us when we buy the tickets. I personally, won't go and support that.

Good question. At the show Corb actually talked about both sides of that - the ranchers he knew who had issues with the oil patch and his buddies who work there earning a living. I personally think plastic cups are a waste of valuable hydrocarbons. As for little, check out this photo - of how many cups are used in airplanes around the world! http://unicyclecreative.com/wordpress/archives/263#more-263
