Fresh off the launch of Apple’s iconic iPad, Hemlock Printers wanted to remind customers of the power of print, with a gala event and memorable take-home piece. Unicycle created the HPad as the analog answer to digital over-complication. A parody TV commercial was posted, and the device itself was presented against the high-tech backdrop of a launch party worthy of Silicon Valley. Every attendee took home their own HPad and the run was ‘sold out’, even as the video continues to rack up views.
